Compassionate I am Karachi initiative

The internationally acclaimed Compassionate Cities Campaign successfully launched its wave of change in Karachi in 2014. Compassionate Karachi aimed to create multiple compassion-based actions throughout the city, engaging civil society members and teaching them the value of compassion.

The Charter for Compassion Cricket Club, established in February 2014, successfully engaged 1200 underprivileged children. Committed coaches identified talented young cricketers and motivated players in Korangi, Lyari, Sultanabad, and Hijrat Colony. Around 270 children from these areas were ultimately reached, some of whom were diverted away from dangerous surroundings.

Compassionate Footprint Initiative

Following the devastating heat wave of 2015, which tragically claimed over 1200 lives in Karachi, the Compassionate Footprint Initiative was created. Teams immediately went into action to spread environmental awareness, targeting schools with educational campaigns and tree-planting drives to amplify their message.
